*DO THIS IN MEMORY OF
ME* *DON'T LOSE ANOTHER
DAY WITHOUT USING Dear brethren: READ IT IN THE HOLY BIBLE: (GENESIS CHAPTER 22: 1-18)
1 ¶ And it came to pass after these things, that
God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him,
Abraham: and he said, Behold, [here] I [am]. 2 And he
said, Take now thy son, thine only [son]
Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land
of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering
upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of. 3 ¶
And Abraham rose up early in the morning,
and saddled his ass, and took two of his young men
with him, and Isaac his son, and clave the wood for
the burnt offering, and rose up, and went unto the
place of which God had told him.
4 Then on the third day Abraham lifted up his
eyes, and saw the place afar off. 5 And Abraham said unto his young
men, Abide
ye here with the ass; and I and the lad will go
yonder and worship, and come again to you. 6 And Abraham took the wood
of the burnt
offering, and laid [it] upon Isaac his son; and he
took the fire in his hand, and a knife; and they went
both of them together. 7 And Isaac spake unto Abraham his
father, and
said, My father: and he said, Here [am] I, my son.
And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but
where [is] the lamb for a burnt offering? 8 And Abraham said, My son, God will provide
himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went
both of them together. 9 And they came to the place which God had told
him of; and Abraham built an altar there, and laid
the wood in order, and bound Isaac his son, and laid
him on the altar upon the wood. 10 And Abraham stretched forth
his hand, and took the knife to slay his son.
11
¶ And the angel of the LORD called unto him
out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he
said, Here [am] I. 12 And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the boy,
neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know
that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld
thy son, thine only [son] from me. 13 And Abraham lifted up his
eyes, and looked,
and behold behind [him] a ram caught in a thicket
by his horns: and Abraham went and took the
ram,
and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead
of his son. 14 And Abraham called the name of that place
Jehovahjireh: as it is said [to] this day, In the
mount of the LORD it shall be seen. 15 ¶ And
the angel of the LORD called unto
Abraham out of heaven the second time, 16 And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the
LORD, for because thou hast done this thing, and
hast not withheld thy son, thine only [son]: 17 That in blessing
I will bless thee, and in
multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of
the heaven, and as the sand which [is] upon the sea
shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his
enemies; 18 And in thy seed shall all the nations of
the
earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my
voice
. Note: Abraham was ready to give his own son as sacrifice to God. So God was so pleased in him and blessed him abundantly - we read above already. God told Abraham through the angel of the Lord: I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which [is] upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice. If Abraham was blessed that much by obeying God and getting
ready to offer
his own son in sacrifice to God, imagine how much, unlimited blessings
we can get by giving God's own Son, Jesus
to God as gift in sacrifice. In the Holy Mass we are repeating
the Last Supper of Jesus at which
occasion, Jesus changed bread and wine into His own body and blood and
gave
to His disciples to eat and drink for the forgiveness of the sins of
the
mankind. Through that way He wants to live in us physically and
spiritually.
He asked us through His disciples to repeat it when we gather in His
name.
As God asked Abraham to give Abraham's own son to God in sacrifice,
Jesus
is asking us to repeat what he did in his Last Supper. At the
place
Abraham gave his own son, we are giving God's own Son, Jesus as gift in
sacrifice to God. We cannot even compare Abraham's son to God's
Son, Jesus
who is also one of the Trinity. (JOB 1: 1-5)
There was a man in the land of Uz, whose
name [was] Job; and that man was perfect and
upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.
2 And there were born unto him seven sons and
three daughters. 3 His substance also was seven thousand sheep,
and three thousand camels, and five hundred yoke
of oxen, and five hundred she asses, and a very
great household; so that this man was the greatest
of all the men of the east. 4 ¶ And his sons went and feasted [in
their]
houses, every one his day; and sent and called for
their three sisters to eat and to drink with them. 5 And it was so,
when the days of [their] feasting
were gone about, that Job sent and sanctified them,
and rose up early in the morning, and offered burnt
offerings [according] to the number of them all: for
Job said, It may be that my sons have sinned, and
cursed God in their hearts. Thus did Job continually
. Note: We read above Job rose up early in the morning, and offered burnt offerings [according] to the number of them all: for Job said, It may be that my sons have sinned, and cursed God in their hearts. Thus did Job continually. Job was a very just man in his time. But he gave sacrifices of burnt offering for the forgiveness of his children's sins fearing that they would have sinned against God. If Job was giving burnt offerings to God for the
forgiveness of his sons' sins, imagine how much, unlimited blessings
and forgiveness of sins we can get by giving
God's own Son, Jesus to God as gift in sacrifice instead of burnt
offerings.

As God asked Abraham to give Abraham's own son to God in sacrifice,
Jesus
is asking us to repeat what he did in his Last Supper. At the

Abraham gave his own son, we are giving God's own Son, Jesus as gift in

spoken these words unto Job, the LORD said to
Eliphaz the Temanite, My wrath is kindled against
thee, and against thy two friends: for ye have not
spoken of me [the thing that is] right, as my servant
Job [hath]. 8 Therefore take unto you now seven bullocks and
seven rams, and go to my servant Job, and offer up
for yourselves a burnt offering; and my servant Job
shall pray for you: for him will I accept: lest I deal
with you [after your] folly, in that ye have not
spoken of me [the thing which is] right, like my
servant Job. 9 So Eliphaz the Temanite and Bildad the Shuhite
[and] Zophar the Naamathite went, and did
according as the LORD commanded them: the LORD
also accepted Job. 10 ¶ And the LORD turned the captivity of
Job,
when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave
Job twice as much as he had before. While Jesus was at His last supper, He took bread in His sacred hands and looking up to heaven, His almighty Father, He gave Him thanks and praise. He broke the bread, gave it to His disciples, and said: Take this, all of you, and eat it: this is my body which will be given up for you. When supper was ended, He took the cup. Again He gave thanks and praise to His almighty Father, gave the cup to His disciples, and said: take this, all of you, and drink from it: this is the cup of my blood, the blood of the It will be shed for you and for all so that sins may be forgiven. . Luke 22:19-20. The above means a lot to Jesus'disciples (all who are baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost are Jesus' disciples - according to and read Matthew 28:18-20) and to the mankind. All of Jesus' disciples should do it - not only "the priests". At His last supper He asked and authorized also us, His future disciples (all who are baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost are Jesus' disciples - according to and read Matthew 28:18-20) to give Him as sacrifice to Jesus' Father who is our God, Father and Creator. There is nothing else for God greater than receiving His own son, Jesus as sacrifice. Jesus told us to do it in memory of Him so that sins may be forgiven (read Matthew 26:28). According to Jesus, we are supposed to offer this most precious and most valuable sacrifice to God our Father and Creator, very often. So it is our obligation to Jesus and God, our Father and Creator to do it in memory of Him. To know more and how to give the greatest sacrifice to God, according to Jesus' words, we ask you to send us a SELF-ADDRESSED & STAMPED ENVELOPE to the address below. We will send you information how you can give the greatest sacrifice to God. You can stay in the same denomination that you are in now. No need of changing your denomination. In the name of who has made us to be a Kingdom and Priests to God his Father (Rev. 1:6), let your family and everyone of you have peace and all kinds of prosperities always. GOD-JESUS.ORG . .
